This project, called The Future of Learning: New Ways to Learn New Skills for Future Jobs, ran parallel with Tellnet focusing on forecasting how the entire field of education would look like in 2025, Tellnet only looks at one aspect of it, namely Teachers' professional development opportunities through learning networks.

"In a study conducted by IPTS, TNO, the Open University of the Netherlands and AtticMedia for the European Commission on the future of learning we developed several personas that tell the story of Europe's learners in 2025.
